EDUCATION OVERVIEW

Education is critical for our youth to succeed, our communities across America to prosper, and our country to thrive. We believe that improving educational access, outcomes, and graduation rates for all students is a national priority. This conviction inspires our work and drives our commitment to provide individuals with an excellent education and a clear pathway to success. We build partnerships with local and national organizations to increase their impact and advance innovation.

BRIDGES FOR SCHOOLS

Our education initiatives seek to improve educational access, outcomes, and graduation rates in our country. The Crimsonbridge Foundation launched Bridges for Schools to improve the vitality and sustainability of Catholic schools through a whole-community, research-based approach. Working in partnership with principals, teachers, pastors, families, and students, the Foundation's multi-pronged strategy invests in leadership, parent engagement, welcoming environments, bilingual communications, research, and tuition assistance.

Catholic schools represent the largest private independent school network in the country, enrolling over 1.6 million students annually. Catholic schools are all inclusive, welcoming students of all faiths and backgrounds.

COLLEGE SUCCESS

The College Success portfolio invests in innovative practices, programs, and research that help students overcome barriers to college completion. Our work focuses on cultivating meaningful collaborations with direct-service nonprofits, high school districts, colleges and universities, and research organizations to advance college student success, both locally and nationally. This work has included technical assistance to hundreds of colleges to enhance wraparound supports, seeding new programs for students who are first-generation or first in their families to attend college, research on areas of basic needs, and more.

CAREER PATHWAYS

While a college degree traditionally opens the path to a successful career, it's certainly not the only valuable credential to build a fulfilling and prosperous future. New opportunities in career pathways offer practical skills, hands-on training, and direct routes into the workforce. Crimsonbridge is developing research to identify promising practices across various postsecondary options, including in regions where such options are less accessible.

IMPACT - banner.jpg

"Today's students come from all walks of life, including nearly 4 million who are parenting while pursuing their degree. While the faces of today’s college students have changed, the higher ed system is still playing catch up. From disaggregating student success metrics by variables like race and parenting status to investing in wraparound supports to help students overcome systemic barriers, we can redesign postsecondary education to support all of today's students."
